iPad, the name spells magic as its touch does. According to the reports online, Apple has lost its trademark for iPad in a dispute and has to pay a fine of $1.5 billion (app.), if it wants to continue the name iPad to the device. China is an important market for Apple. iPhone is the biggest smartphone brand in China. Changing the name of the device is not that good for the company.
Apple had previously purchased the rights to the trademarked name from the company that owned the name “iPad” in China since 2000, but the Shenzen Municipal Intermediate People’s Court has now been decided that the transfer of trademarks was invalid. So there's a all round buzz about what Apple is gonna decide over this issue..What if they decided to change the name? Any suggestions from you guys....???
