StumbleUpon gets new interface

StumbleUpon rolled out with a redesigned website, new colors, new "Explore Box", which had been a beta program previously. The algorithm remains same, even though there is a change in the user interface. Its the same, the same way as you used to stumble over your pages of interest.

“Some of the words we used when describing StumbleUpon were surprising,  adventurous, exciting, and when we put our logo in brand in front of test users, they weren’t saying that,” Camp, the CEO of SU said. “We wanted to make it that for them, while also simplifying the site.”

Here is a bit of history related to the site. It was established in 2001 for finding interested content the user needs. It was acquired by eBay in 2007 for $75 million. Then again, Camp bought it back along with his co-founder and made the site private once again. StumbleUpon is now the largest traffic referrer for most of the sites out-beating Facebook and Google.
