There are certain methods which tell you when exactly your system was switched on or started working in that session. It will be quite useful sometimes depending on the need. Well, here we present 3 different procedures of finding your system start up time. This will be interesting.
Procedure 1:
Run the command prompt as "administrator" and type in "net statistics workstation" and press enter. That's it, your done. You can't always rely upon this method, this is a bit inexact at times.
Procedure 2:
Follow Procedure 1, and instead of "net statistics workstation", use "systeminfo". It generates its data depending on your system's configuration(speed) and displays the start up time under the label "system Boot time"
Procedure 3:
This is a different method, unlike other 2 procedures. You have to download an installer from Microsoft Support. The link is here. It is uptime.exe. Uptime.exe Tool allows you to estimate server availability with Windows NT 4.0 SP4 or higher.
- Copy uptime.exe to "C:\Windows"
- Run command prompt as in Procedure 1.
- Type "uptime.exe" or simply "uptime" and enter, that's it you're done.
If anyone of you knows any additional methods other than these, you can post it in the comments section.
