Google on veteran's day made a creation for the military veteran community. It feels proud to share the tools and platforms of Google with the veteran community. The link is Google for Veterans and families. This was created by veterans, their family and friends who work at Google.Here, I'm giving you some of the examples that you will find on the site.
- Vet connect : This works on Google plus platform, it helps the users to communicate and share their experiences.
- Veterans channel : Google said that this could be a major platform for others i.e; those who are not a part of military or veteran community to offer thanks or by uploading a tribute video. This is a Youtube channel.
- Resume Builder: This is completely for veterans who are seeking jobs. This is powered by Google Docs.
It said that, Veterans Job bank has been introduced in partnership with the Dept. of Veterans affairs. The statement that really deserves applaud is that the founder said that " Even playing a small part to serve to those who have served has been an honor"
